flowers in monochrome are sublime. and because i know my Mum will see this…. Happy Mother’s Day 🙂
this is the park where i run. we’ve had really glorious sun and on this evening it was really golden and luminous. the photos don’t even capture the ethereal glow there was in the air.

orchids sometimes seem like they’re up to something. tonight my orchid was looking enchantingly menacing. there’s also something ethereal about monochrome photography in nature… here’s a rose from last summer:
this morning i went to this wonderful garden centre in East Dulwich (in South-East London) and bought some herbs, lavender, pots, other things and solar-powered starlights. next weekend: flowers.
