chocolate heart cookies

ingredients: 250g wholemeal flour (i used spelt), approx. 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa, 1/2 cup of coconut oil, 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence. 1/2 cup of milk (or soya milk) and equivalent of water. sweeten with agave nectar (love the taste of agave!). adjust all flavourings to your taste, i love choc cookies for their cocoa-ey taste and don’t like them super sweet.

mix up until you get that cookie-dough consistency (too vague?), roll out, show the dough some cookie cutter love and bake for 20 mins at 180-190C.

let cool…. turns out they weren’t quite sweet enough, easily fixed by dabbing some agave on top – pretty and delicious.
