…the solar-powered starlights got all charged up with this glorious sunshine and are glowing! Advertisements
late on sunday night i gave in to a sudden fancy for cookies. ingredients: 2 mashed bananas, 2 cups of oats, an amount of coconut oil and a tablespoon of vanilla essence. mix it up, splatter into cookie-shaped blobs onto a baking sheet and bake at 180 C for 20-30 mins. i’m really not very […]
the moon was really lovely tonight, these photos aren’t very amazing but i’m in a sharing kind of moon mood so there you go. these were taken about an hour apart.
the rising sun, taken this morning around 7am
this morning i went to this wonderful garden centre in East Dulwich (in South-East London) and bought some herbs, lavender, pots, other things and solar-powered starlights. next weekend: flowers.
one of my friends (David) has just released a new single and is creating an ad-spot in the shape of a 30-second stop-motion video. he asked me to help him with the photos, which is sweet and terribly trusting. basically it will be around 700 (?) or so photos for the ad-spot. yesterday we shot […]
i’ve taken up knitting! and can knit things that are square, rectangular, or any variation of square or rectangular.

Venus is the bright spiral, Jupiter the fainter one. they were so bright and beautiful.
so this is kind of nice, not very dramatic i suppose. i love the washed-out look of bleached seaside colours. this was taken under London bridge on a sunny evening (see also previous pic). technically not the seaside, i know. haha!
the black heart pub in camden is kind of a quirky place and i love the slightly horrible net curtains.
Oxford under a full moon, with bright sparkling Venus
on Wednesday night me and a friend went to Oxford to see The Factory theatre do their version of Hamlet in Blackwell’s bookshop. we stopped off at The Eagle and Child for dinner, the pub where the Inklings used to meet, a group of writers that included CS Lewis and Tolkien. it’s a really nice […]
these are two of my favourite photos from the SFX Sci-Fi Weekender back in February. it was all sorts of cool/interesting, something i won tickets for and it ended up being really good.
weather-beaten and washed out like a lost memory, these tangled flags are from a street party last year on my road, celebrating the royal wedding.
